Talonna Whitecrane was born in Billings, Montana but raised in the desert heat of Phoenix, Arizona. She received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Criminal Justice from ITT Technical Institute. In pursuant of her degree, Talonna originally aspired to work in law enforcement.

Since earning her degree in 2012, Talonna redirected her interest to a career in substance abuse and mental health services. Talonna dedicated eight years in various positions working for a non-profit residential treatment center for at-risk youth and an adult substance abuse facility.

Talonna also has experience volunteering for her local tribal fire department as a Crisis Response Technician, which has helped her understand the importance of community wellness in all aspects.

Talonna is passionate about the health and wellness of her community and is eager to collaborate with Vista Ridge Foundation in serving communities throughout Montana.
